Who we are: RE-AXION Media Group, LLC d/b/a “RAVE Music Festival” (“RAVE Music Festival,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit ravemusicfestival.com, buy tickets or merch, or interact with us online (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy and our Terms & Conditions.

 

1) What we collect

We collect information you provide, automatically (via basic site logs/essential cookies), and from service providers we use to run the site. The examples below are illustrative - not every category applies to every user.

  • A. Identifiers & Contact Info

    • Name, email, phone, billing/shipping address (for orders), order IDs, IP address, and limited cookie/local storage identifiers used for essential site functions.

  • B. Commercial & Payment Info

    • Ticket/merch orders, cart and checkout details, refund/chargeback information, shipping status.

    • Note: Card data is processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

  • C. Event & Operational Info (if you attend/buy tickets)

    • Ticket type and purchase status. We may collect access/accommodation details you choose to share for ADA support.

    • We do not currently use wristband activation or entry-scan tracking; if that changes, we will update this Policy.

  • D. Internet/Device Activity (basic logs only)

    • Pages viewed, links clicked, referral URLs, approximate location from IP, timestamps, browser/OS, and session logs.

    • Analytics/advertising cookies are disabled as of the Effective Date.

  • E. Communications & UGC

    • Emails and support requests you send us, contact/DMCA forms or notices, survey responses, and contest entries.

  • F. Inferences/Preferences (lightweight)

    • Simple operational segments (e.g., email engagement like opens/clicks).

    • We do not build advertising profiles or run targeted ads at this time.

  • G. Sensitive Info (limited, optional)

    • Only if you voluntarily provide it (e.g., accessibility needs for ADA support). We do not seek government IDs or precise geolocation unless legally required for age or compliance checks.

 

2) Sources

  • You (forms, checkout, email, support, DMCA).

  • Automatic collection (cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics).

  • Partners/Providers (e.g., payment, ticketing, email, analytics, advertising, fraud-prevention).

  • Public/Third-party platforms where you engage with our content.

 

3) How we use information

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Services and the Event.

  • Process orders, payments, activations, and customer support.

  • Communicate about purchases, lineup/operational updates, and policy changes.

  • Personalize content, measure performance, and run analytics.

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and enforce Terms (including DMCA).

  • Marketing and advertising (including interest-based/“targeted” advertising, where permitted).

  • Legal compliance (tax, accounting, recordkeeping).

 

4) How we share information

We do not sell your information for money. We may “share” or process data for targeted advertising as defined in some state laws. You can opt out (see Your Privacy Choices below).

We disclose information to:

  • Service providers/processors (hosting, ticketing, payment, email/SMS, analytics, customer support, fraud prevention, call/voicemail handling).

  • Operational partners (e.g., entry/access control vendors) to run the Event.

  • Advertising/analytics partners (for measurement and interest-based ads).

  • Law enforcement or legal matters (to comply with law, protect rights/safety, respond to valid legal requests).

  • Business transfers (merger, financing, asset sale).
    We do not allow providers to use your data for their own independent marketing.

 

5) Cookies, analytics, and ads

As of 10/10/2025, we use only strictly necessary cookies for core functionality and have disabled analytics and advertising cookies.

 

6) Your privacy rights (U.S. state laws)

We honor opt-out requests even though we do not engage in targeted advertising or "sharing" personal information. Depending on your state (e.g., CA, CO, CT, VA, UT, OR, TX, MT, DE, IA, IN, TN), you may have rights to:

  • Access / Know what we collected and how we used it.

  • Delete data we collected from you (subject to legal/operational exceptions).

  • Correct inaccuracies.

  • Portability (get a copy in portable format).

  • Opt-out of:

    • Targeted advertising / “sharing” of personal information,

    • Sale of personal information (we do not sell for money),

    • Profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal/similar significant effects (not typical for us).

  • Limit use of sensitive data (we use only minimal sensitive info you provide for access accommodations).

  • Appeal a decision if we deny your request (where required).

7) Notice at collection (California)

We collect the categories described in Section 1 for the purposes in Section 3 and retain them as in Section 9. We may disclose them to the recipients in Section 4. We may “share” identifiers, internet/activity data, and inferences with advertising/analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out via Your Privacy Choices above. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors.

 

8) Children’s data

The Event is 21+ and the Services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe we collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we’ll delete it.

 

9) Retention

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including:

  • Orders/ticketing & tax records: 7 years (accounting/legal).

  • Support/communications & operational logs: 2 years.

  • Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe or 2 years of inactivity.

  • Access accommodation requests/ADA communications: 1 year after the Event.
    We may keep data longer if required by law or to resolve disputes.

 

10) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to our size and Services (e.g., HTTPS, access controls, provider due-diligence). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

 

11) International users

We are U.S.-based and primarily serve U.S. residents. By using the Services, you understand your data may be processed in the United States.

 

12) Third-party links and services

Third-party sites, plug-ins, and services have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or policies.

 

13) Changes to this Policy

We’ll post updates here with a new Effective Date. Material changes will be highlighted on-site.
